Workers who are injured on the job should be entitled to respect and fair treatment from their employers who they serve.  However, there are too often employers who take advantage of these injured workers to either deny them fair compensation and reasonable medical treatment; but even worse, to use the worker's injury or recovery to terminate the injured worker.  

 

Under Florida laws, workers are protected from this type of abuse and mistreatment and can receive compensation for this type of retaliation and even reinstatement of their employment.
